THE SPACE BETWEEN PHYSICAL

AND SPIRITUAL             REALMS.

ABOUT

Margaret Ohley

I feel most at home on the threshold. Since I was a child, I’ve had an innate need to straddle the space between the spiritual and physical realms—the liminal space.

This inner knowing and magnetism to life's in-between spaces led me down a winding path to birth work.

As a registered nurse, my background is rooted in a diverse range of settings, including a high-risk postpartum hospital unit, a birth center, and in-home Ayurvedic postpartum doula care. These environments have allowed me to experience birth in many forms. Each has provided me with insight into the transformative process of becoming a mother, shaping my understanding of how to support this transition. I have also been immersed in the realm of motherhood as part of the content team for Artipoppe, allowing me a different avenue to explore a mother’s beauty and complexity.

My approach to postpartum support is intuitively led, recognizing that each day offers something unique physically, emotionally, and spiritually. There is no greater gift than allowing someone to witness your rebirth. I've gained more from the mothers in my life than I've ever given them, simply by witnessing their journeys. Watching mothers meet their depths is my greatest honor.
